Mendeley is a robust citation management software tool similar to RefWorks. RefWorks will still be provided for campus by OIT.
The University Libraries pursued this subscription for campus because Mendeley Premium offers some features that might be useful for faculty, staff, research teams, and students:
- groups with file sharing, pdf annotation, and editing - including non-UNLV group members;
- tight integration with Elsevier publications and databases;
- article suggestions based upon your personal library of saved materials; and
- an academic social networking feature.
